Making a table clock

In their first year of training, many watchmakers learn the fundamental skills by making their own table clock.

My first table clock cost me many hours of painstaking handwork. In particular, filing the plates to my delicate design was a major challenge. I also made a complete Graham anchor including its pallets. The first bearings after the barrel are ball bearings, while the finer wheels run in ruby bearings . A simple hour strike completes the design.
